Floodplane - PLEASE!

First I gotta give props to all the bands (or at least the one's I'm familiar with :wink: ) being suggested - there are some killers up on the boards!

Keeping with that theme, I want to show love and support for my fav - Floodplane. They're out of Des Moines and really have their s**t together! They write great songs and feature very talented musicians. If you haven't heard of them yet - YOU WILL!! Believe it or not, Des Moines has more to offer than just Slipknot.

Some of you may have caught them out in Colorado last month. If you're in the KC area - they'll be playing Friday May 6th at Molloy Brothers in Westport. And on 6/2 they will be opening for Umphrey's in Des Moines at the Simon Estes Amphitheater, a stage on the banks of the Des Moines River (awesome venue).

Please, please, please invite them to Wakarusa! I ain't too proud to beg...:D )

...I've watched Floodplane develope into one hell of a band over the years and encourage everyone to check them out when down at Wakarusa. Rumor has it they've got a slot on the Central Plains Jamband Society Stage during one of the afternoons. I'll be there gettin' my groove on! Hope you'll join me!!!...
