Memorial Day Weekend campin'

As it turns out, I'll be going solo to the Mulberry grounds (from Oklahoma City) the saturday before waka for the memorial day vacation type of thing. The people there say they start clearing the grounds to set up the festival on monday, at which point I can move to Turner Bend or another local campground for some extra days of primitive camping and relaxation before the actual festival. I wondered if any other wakarusans would be in the area as well.;)

Good camping at Three Sisters Park that weekend!

I would go and check out the Buffalo river for a few days. Its not that far, maybe 45 miles and would be WELL worth your time. Lost Valley is cool this time of year, you can rent a canoe at Ponca and see one of the most beautiful places in arkansas.
