Hello all! My boyfriend and I are going to be driving up from Denver, CO on Thursday for the much raved about 3-day festivities! Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated for someone who has all the camping necessities but not sure about the \"little things\" we should be bringing. Also, $99 for general tickets, $125 for upgrade -- if get upgrade, do you also have to do $99 for a ticket? Or is the full price $125?? Sorry, I a newbie idiot! Thanks to all for any responses! So looking forward to this!

One thing to bring is deet bugspray. The chiggars will eat you alive. Also, bring your own shade- and some sunscreen.

Each person entering the festival needs to have a $99 pass in order to be admitted. This includes those who choose the $125 upgrade option. The upgrade option is for a semi-private camping area with a fire ring. The only ones still available are located in Campground 3.

So to summarize festival tickets must be purchased seperately from an upgraded or premium campsite.

I would recommend atleast 2 of those 2.5gal water jugs you get at the store and a couple Nalgenes to carry with you.

Two virgins, eh? The official Wakarusa rule guide clearly states that any virgins at the festival are required to go directly to my tent.

Yeah, me again....I've seen people talk about how they were assigned campsites i.e. 1, 3 etc. I just bought our $99 general admission tickets and they didn't tell us what campsite we were in. Is that because with GA it is first come/first serve and only assigned if upgrade or premium? Sorry for my ignorance.... :D

Yeah, the upgraded camping is an additional $125. With general admission, I think you line up like with the old west land rush, and when TeamB shoots the gun, everyone with a GA ticket runs to get the spots closest to where the action is.

Oh, I thought that's how you guys still did things in the midwest.

(just kidding.[i] Now I know I'm just asking for someone to make fun of Mississippi, which is not exactly difficult to do.)

JS, thats because the line went halfway thru the parking lot. At least it was in the line and not in the portapottie, I noticed you didnt stay in line very long. Just long enough to pass out fliers.
