Hey there! I have a friend who went to Wakarusa last year and said that her camp site sucked and recommends getting VIP. As we all know, VIP is considerably more in price. Does anyone think it is worth it? Or would it be best to just suck it up and do the general camping (since upgrades are sold out)? Thanks! :D

Cooney, I am a newbie but there are a lot of posts about vip on page three of tent city. I was unsure also but was easily persuaded by people who tried vip last year.
good luck

If you are a big beer drinker, it is worth the money. (Free beer)
If you don't want to worry about cooking dinner, it is worth the money. (Free food)
If you want to camp as close to the concert grounds as possible, it is worth the money. (about 100 yards from the gate)
If you want to make sure you can get up close to see the bands, it is worth the money. (special viewing area right in front of stage).
Hope this helps

This is the only reason that I went with VIP this year. If they just had one stage it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but with two main stages and the Revival Tent, it'll be nice to be able to go back and fourth between the three and get as close as you want to the music.
