not as bad as weather channel and accuweather. Looks like it will likely be raining Thursday morning for many arrivals. Also looks like we'll be seeing bit of T - Storm on Saturday. All in all, you never know, but if you plan on waiting for the weather in Oklahoma or Kansas, you will find yourself waiting indefinitely. Lets try to will it away, but come prepared!
It's going to be a great time!

Note the date on the original post - it was from the first fest in '04 (and indeed it stormed on Thursday!) I think bogmonkey was just bumping it.

kgbnfx -

I would absulutely count on her forecast. In fact, I'll up her and predict strong winds and torrential rain. The STS9 show might get canceled.

The post is 3 years old. :D

In all seriousness... I trust weather.gov (NOAA) a lot more than the advertised supported sites. NOAA locally produce forecasts (in this case out of Topeka and Pleasant Hill) whereas those others rely soley on folks looking at computers in Atlanta (weather.com) and somewhere else (accuweather).

Another good site... http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/

It gives 1, 2, 3, and 4-8 day outlooks. Good to look at while getting the camping gear together.
