I know some of the forum users are probably already heading out, but just wondering what everyones ages are?... what they think the average age might be for something like this?... I go to a lot of concerts (not usually like this) and I tend to be part of the older crowd at those.. (i'm only 30)... hopefully there will be plenty of women around my age... :D

Eeek! You're \"older\" at 30?!!! I'm knocking on elderly then :shock: I'm 41, and my friend is 45. Yikes...wondering if we should get a couple walkers so we can get around the site :lol:

LOL, I'm not saying your old... i'm saying i'm just older than the average kid at a normal show I go to... but remember that I'm a metalhead and go to a lot of those shows which tend to have a very young audience... one show I went to recently.. i was working my way through the crowd and some kid looks directly at me, then turns and looks at his friend and said, \"There are a lot of old people here this time!\" :D

Hmmm....maybe we could get a deal on walkers & use them to barter with! Oh!!! Hey!!! Someone could paint them funky colors! That way all us \"older folks\" can still fit in with the young hep cats :lol: .

My guess is 39, TeamB!!!

I've never been to anything like this, so I am really cranked! What could be better than spending a weekend enjoying nature & listening to great music! And the people watching :P . I think it's going to be cool to see the diversity in ages. I bet there will be a lot of high school/college age & a lot of 40's & 50's, and every age in between. All grooving to the tunes.....ahhhhh! Life is good :wink: .

~~~Enjoy~~~
I'll guess 24
I'm 26, fiance' is 23, buddy is 26 and his sister is 29. :lol:
LMAO at Metalhead! I love the comment from the kid at the concert! How funny!
I never thought you were saying anything about my age though....I know the feeling of being older at concerts and such. And just to show you how out of it I am, I thought metalhead meant you had a lot of facial piercings! Geez.....I need to get out more :lol: .
Age is only a number anyway. I feel young, so I am young :D .
Kitti and Rob, who else is in the photo we took together? I don't seem to remember the names of the other girls. I'm guessing the one in the brown and white dress is Robs woman?
If you haven't been - listen to Bob... That fest is too sweet.
Bob - sorry that I didn't get the chance to have a rum with you. I forgot all about the meeting times until it was too late probably because of all of the rum I had soaked up.
What a great time! Glad that all of your stuff shipped well and things went smooth. :D
Take it slow,
I forgot what this thread was about...
The average age between my wife and I is 36... but neither of us is more or less than 10 years from 36... One of us won't see 36 for more than 2 years and one of us won't see 36 again in this life...
Riddle me this... What age are we? I'll give you a hint... the older one looks younger...
kinderkitti
06-25-2004, 11:02 AM
Yes and I love you too, honeybunny. Already asked Randall for WTFspeakeasy and mofro i think. I'll get a sts9 for ya.
06-25-2004, 12:13 PM
I'll get a start on them this weekend. I listened to the WTF show last night - Love It. Super Mario Bros rocks! :D
I'm afraid that this may be the first band to actually have the fans change the name -> from Speakeasy -> to WTF Speakeasy -> to simply WTF. WTF is a great name for a band. If they don't want it, someone else will!
Randall <---- buried at work... TGIF!
JustBob
06-25-2004, 05:20 PM
I hear the buried at work, I've been palying catch up all week. About noon today I felt like I was done. Now I'm just back to the normal running around with my head cut off stuff. I'm going to sleep so much this weekend.
If you didn't hear already, my flight got cancled and I ended up sleeping in the ATL, GA airport Monday night. I've been so beat all week and its not from sleeping in a tent with an air mattresses. Can you say carpet nap?
Bob
06-25-2004, 05:33 PM
Ugh! :evil: Sorry to hear that man! I travel a great deal of time with my job and have been stuck in a ton of airports - but only a couple of overnighters and never after a four day party... I feel for you but am glad you are back in the swing of things. I hope that all went well with the shipping...
We live about 40 miles from Waka so continued to make Monday a party... Between the chiggers, gallons of rum, and little sleep - even with Monday off - Tuesday was HARD and my week was LONG.
But hey WTF? - it's Friday and I'm home from work - back on the rum and looking forward to moe. tomorrow! Life is sweet. :D
Randall <----------- Stupid for playing late on Monday
JustBob
06-25-2004, 05:59 PM
lol, have fun at moe.
I won't be drinking this weekend. My liver needs a break. Next weekend is the 4th and I'm off to Orlando to party with my cousin again. Rock on!!!
Got all my stuff back Thurday. Boxes were even more beat up, but nothing was broken. Now I just need to get it all out of my living room. :D
Bob
06-25-2004, 06:25 PM
That's cool. I'd take the weekend off too if I were going to hang out with your cousin on the 4th. Jager in the morning - I got to meet this guy!
:lol: :lol: :lol: Congratulations Bob!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
You win three CD's as well for:
1) Helping everyone with questions on this board :D
2) Giving a guitar away and hosting a hunt :D
3) Having to sleep in the airport :D
AND ----> a special bonus CD for:
4) Sharing my passion for mixing rum and music :D
Give me some time to get kk's done because she won first. I have to convert some to audio from shn's and flacs which I am kinda new at. When I get hers out, I'll send you a PM with my Waka list. Every show that these kind friendly tapers are putting up - I am pulling down... and I will do my best to pass them onto good folk such as yourself. Getting two more as I type.
