Will there be more secluded camping available, other than the upgraded or premium? Is the GA camping one giant field? Or can we camp in the woods? Wondering what options there are without the upgrade, and without being in a giant field. Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Peace, -Ian

Woods=chiggers AND ticks. Be careful. All I saw were field spots for general camping and we cruised the whole place while riding the nowaka bus.

Basically GA camping is on a first-come, first-serve basis and you will be guided to a randomly assigned spot as you come into the festival. My personal advice is to play it by ear and keep an eye out for a good spot to camp while also respecting the fact that the people parking you have a job to do. Camping in the actual woods is a no no not only due to the reasons that kinderkitti mentioned but also because it is prohibited by the park itself...plus there's a monster that lives out there that likes to eat people, so it's really not worth the risk.

if you leave a beer out for the waka-boogeyman each night at the edge of the woods he'll drink it and move on to the next campsite, you'll be perfectly safe

the poison ivy is fierce in the woods, beginning with the tree line.

hey Team B: just curious if anything is being done to stem the tide of chiggers? have you folks heard of mosquito barrier? :www.mosquitobarrier.com, it is a product that is 99% garlic oil and repels ticks, kills mosquitoes and chiggers. but is safe and natural. apparently cities have been using in parks and areas they don'y want nasty chemicals. easy to apply also. just a thought.

no boogeyman will be wandering the wakagrounds... Panic tour does not include a stop at Wakarusa.

Ouch!!!! That stung a little. Since I am a \"Huge\" Spreadneck I would like to invite you for a beer and some smoked flesh on the bone(ribs and whiskey)
Well, ribs and whiskey making my mind feel tight
Whiskey, making my mind (body) feel hot
If you won't be my love
I'm gonna find me a new place to spend my night

madison, sorry for the zinger... i'm not a huge panic fan and my buddies all give me **** about not liking them very much, therefore those kinds of smartass remarks come very easily for me... i've really got to start watchin' the abrasive posts... i would love for somebody to play me some really good WP and change my mind about them...cheers:)

and unless your were being sarcastic about the beer and ribs invite, i would love to take you up on the invitation:) :D

Ribs, whiskey and home brews bro. No offense taken, its all in good fun. Just follow your nose to the sweet smells of pecan smoke, we'll have the smoker going and flesh falling off the bone. Not only am I a Spreadneck, but I'm a Ribhead too. Man I love me some ribs.
