Just wondering how many late night show stages/tents there are each night, & whether it's a first come-first serve type of thing...... & if it's an inside tent set-up w/ limited space or an outdoor extravaganza?

Believe me...if it's anything like last year, there will be more than enough room for everyone who's up that late...

late night is in the tent which is quite large. Crowds will be bigger this year though.

I hope that the size of late night crowds does not exceed last years' equivalent. Granted, those crowds were small maybe half of the entire crowd (about 5,000). This year though there will be up to 30,000 waka patrons in all, and if we can (conservatively) figure that half will be attending late night shows, there may be more shoulder to shoulder crowds.
The only reson that I am worried is that late night sets in the Revival Tent have less competition from other acts. Also the tent itself is huge but it is almost cut in half by the massive sound board. Of course this is necessary, but the big board kinda created a dead space in the rear half of the tent where stragglers were passing out last year.

i suppose if you couldn't fit under the tent, you could sit or stand next to it. these tents are big like wal mart and can accomodate LOTS of people

I know. I was at waka last year and had a blast despite being blasted by the weather. The revival tent was really cool but I am still concerned about the larger crowds this year.
I am probably the only person worried about twenty thousand waka fans in the tent. I just think that the late night shows that will draw more people (due to less competition from other bands) should be at the larger area provided by sun up or down stages.
Oh well, if this is the only thing I can think of to be worried about, then waka should be great again. The more the merrier i guess.

We've got three late night stages running simultaneously and we don't anticipate space being a problem at any of them.
