Can you leave the site of WAKA and still get back in?

I will be arriving Thursday morning but might have to go to town (Lawrence) on Saturday morning. Can I leave Clinton Lake and still get back in?

Will my campsite be jeopardized?

I did last year & it wasn't a problem. I think as far as your campsite goes, it shouldn't be jeopardized unless you are planning to take your tent to town with ya!

goat, i wouldn't leave anything of value at the site such as cooking supplies, food, jewels, cases of liquor, wads of money, sacks of KB. Keep all that in your locked car even if you don't go to town and just go to hear the music. Most everyone at waka will be very kind but there are likely to be a few troublemakers about.
