I would have to send out a great thanx to the nice 2 ladies running the 'royal restrooms' i believe was the name, they were awesome and kind every single time I went to shower-

All the chineese food and oriental food vendors were awesome as could be, and had OK prices for being in the middle of a field in ARKANSAS at a fest-

The Vendors were kind and generous with prices and wares, at a few stores I had little cash left, SO THEY STRUCK A DEAL WITH WAT MONEY I HAD!!!! Only at WAKA!

Other than crossing that tiny land bridge that spanned the drainage ditch a zillion times! (a few of you might know wat i speak of)
And the knobs of the water spigots being taken by anarchist hoodlums until there was only 1 working! (a few of you might know wat i speak of)

The fest was great, and is everything a 650 acre field in the backwoods of Arkansas, in June is cracked up to be-

But the sound systems were the best, I never knew speakers could get that loud and not explode!

By the way, KB and Pauly I am pretty new to this forum thing. I would like to offer an initial thank you to everybody associated with this fine June spectacle. I'm 36 and more than a few years removed from the festival circut (my how things have changed!)

And I can say that it isn't JUST the music that has me coming back. You guys allow for a pretty decent time to be had.

Now more pointedly, in reference to my desire to bring pallets of things to air up, play with, throw and eventually lose. I would like to be a part of the clean-up process. I have no clue where to go from there. Could you tell me how I might proceed?
And could you also tell me that it will be okay to bring 10,000 glowsticks and a few other things. Don't want to offend or have to surrender my booty upon arrival. THANKS AGAIN WAKARUSA

I'm working on getting you cleanup information. Will forward as soon as I have it, but I know that there are hundreds of thousands of glowsticks that make it on to the field every evening, so I don't think you'll have too much trouble.....

Edit: And here's the info!

The Cleanup Crew employs about 3-4 dozen at it's peak during the post event cleanup. The process takes about 2 weeks start to finish (pre-event, event and post) and costs a lot. With disposal costs, haul off, labor, etc. it's well north of $30K. Recycling revenue offsets a portion of this, but that is often invested in the purchase of more trash barrels and equipment for the crew.

Ya and I enjoy that immensely. I guess there is still a feeling of guilt tho when I blast it all over the walls about how much stuff I want to throw up in the air never to care where it lands. And by the way I'm totally serious about the marshmallows, and the

desire to help clean-up.

You could email info@wakarusa.com. I'm pretty sure Becky reads those, and she's worked on Recycalusa for multiple years - she'll know how to get you hooked up w/ the clean up crew.

I will do so. I've spoken with her a couple of times on unrelated topics and am in the process of figuring out what sort of ticket package I need. When I get that figured out in mid Feb. I'll ask her about clean-up. preciate the intel.

Or two weeks from now, whichever comes first!
