If you see somebody gettin down with the hula hoop, I would think it would be ok to ask them for a few pointers

I'm bringing hoops and I'd be more than happy to teach ya how to get it going and a few easy tricks to get started. :)

I know there were hooping classes at Harvest cuz my kiddos took um but i would love to do hoop lessons as an adult . I somehow lost the skills of hooping throughout my aging process . I use to be awsome at it but now I look like an idiot when I pick one up and use it. I would feel more confortable learning with some others that might not be as good so I feel confortable lol. We need to find a place to meet up for this
maybe near the chomp area? there is plenty of road room and shade :)

The first one is of my friends son hooping during classes given at Harvest . The second one is of a girl outside of a hula vender at Waka 2011 and is my ultimate goal to learn :)

Alice will be instructing yoga again per the website, and there's usually people hooping and drumming during those sessions. I think Sunflower also used to bring a bunch of hoops and conduct a workshop after Chompdown.

Might have been ajones6, last active on the forum two years ago.
Sad when folks drop by the wayside, but some of 'em come back to us eventually.

Yep, that's her, Dave. I think her husband took part in the inaugural (only, actually) Bacon Cookoff.
