so this thread is for all the people that are at work/school/otherwise busy and cant make it out to wakarusa until tonite or tomorrow. what is everyone up to? what band are you most looking forward to tonite? who are you most looking forward to this whole weekend? lets get something started for all the people that are stuck at work or whatever.

I'm stuck at work for another 3 hrs or so (it's noon) but I won't be heading to Lawrence until near five. I'm taking Friday and Monday off and am looking forward to the time off work almost as mush as the fest. I'm just looking forward to getting the site all set up and organized so we can chill until Monday! Good music and good times!

I am off Renner and 118 Terr. Lunch for me is getting bags of ice and a $2 turkey from planet sub. My Isuzu Rodeo is packed with so much camping equipment, beer, food, ect that I had to strap the grill on the roof rack. So if you see a grill laying on the side of K-10, you can be assured that mt bungee's gave out. If anyone can find my campsite, Silver Rodeo, big green canopy with a KU blanket hanging from it, I would enjoy drinking a beer (Free State Ad Astera) with my Olathe working peeps.

I will definately look for you! I live in Lawrence, so i am not camping (i have doggys to tend to at night) but rather will be biking out each day with a cooler and a lawn chair on the back of my beat up TREK. It's covered with stickers, as is my helmet, so if you see me, holler, Hey Olathe!

I'm in Overland Park and going early evening. After work, I have to first get lots of booze, then load up the Jeep with lots and lots of gear. Ready to start chillin like a villian - 8)

I have one hour & 45 minutes left at work in Topeka! It's killing me to still be here!!! I am struggling bit time :? .
I have to purchase camping grub, throw it in the car & hit the highway! As long as everything goes according to plan, I should be pulling in the park at a little past 4 (maybe earlier!!!). I'm so ready to go!!!

I just got into town from Atlanta last night at 1am and had to go to work at 7:30 am. So, I didn't have the chance to load up yet. All of my gear is in a nice organized pile in the garage and just has to be thrown in the back of the Jeep. I still have to buy some booze (rum mostly) and ice. I am excited! :lol:

I'm at work for another 4 hours. The group I'm camping with took off this morning and already have the site set up. I'm sooooo jealous. I have never seen Ekoostik Hookah, so I'm looking forward to that. And, definitely STS9! If anybody can make it there on time, check out Ben/Russo Duo. Saw them at Summer Camp, right before the tornados rolled in, and they have a great sound!

Although I've seen them many times, I'm lookin' forward to the Shwag tonight as well. As a Deadhead by heart, I like to kick the fest off with some good ole GD. :D Puts me in a good mood and these guys are great.
