I have a chance to score a camping upgrade but am not sure what to do, if it's worth it. we were planning on staying in family camping anyway because we have a toddler. will family cg be quieter at night? are the facilities better at the upgrade? will it be worth an extra $150? :? is the proximity worth it?
who can help?

Family camping in upgrade is waaaaay down the road. I'd say a good mile or more from the main venue. Campground 3 is the family camping upgrade area with certain quiet hours. With upgrade you usually get a picnic table and a fire ring or grill. Depends on the site if you get any shade. I don't know the location of the general family camping. Of course there will be the nowaka shuttles running all the time and no one minds if you haul all your baby gear on the shuttle. 8)

our upgrade, which i got already, is in campground 1. it looks to be bit closer to everything. But, is campground 1 loud and/or up all night? It sounds like the upgrade buys you some space at the very least, yes?

We were in campground 1 last year in shady grove and our neighbors were amazingly considerate. Those who stayed up late and were at the camp sat around the fire and chilled and those who got up early did the same. Yyr, CG1 is closer to everything. 8)

Like the person above said, last year in Premium camping in campground 1, everyone was REALLY considerate. There were a few wild ones but for the most part everyone was really chill late at night. It's hard to be all crazy the whole time...everyone runs out of gas...

\"everyone runs out of gas\"<---don't bet on that. If you have a little one that need sleep at night, go to the family camp. Thats what it's made for.
