View Full Version : Poll: Who did all four days???

There seemed to be a lot of single-day people and people leaving early, so I was curious about how many people actually stayed for the whole thing.
~edit~
There was supposed to be an All 4 option, but it isn't showing up, and I can't edit the poll. So if a moderator would fix this or just delete the thread, I'd appreciate it.

We arrived in Lawrence late wed night and were at the campground by 8:30 thursday. Had a slightly sour taste in our mouths from our camping experience so we packed up after NMAS last night and headed out. Fabulous, wonderful, awesome 4 days!!!!!!!!!!

We got there at about 3:30 on Thursday and left at about 5:00 on Sunday. By Sunday we were too tired to really get into much of the music, and we weren't that interested in most of the bands on Sunday. We also saw no reason to try getting to sleep while obnoxious drunk people party very loudly next to our tent another night.

We were there from 3 pm Thursday to 9:30 Monday. The only way to do it! The camping for me was such an integral part of the experience. We both were really pleased with our spot, not too crowded, but just enough activity to make it interesting. We were in Camp Cletus. Sunday was our latest night. Had a great time closing it out with Split Lip Rayfield!!! I love those guys! What a great, energetic show!!! And a perfect ending to a fun weekend of great music & great vibes! It sure is hard to be back in the \"real world\" .
We were there Thursday evening thru Monday morning. I couldn't believe how many people left Sunday, but lik eI said before it had the weakiest line up, but Barefoot Manner and Hot Buttered Rum were killer! Had a blast! :D

Like Tim, we got out there about noon on Thursday, left about 10 pm on Sunday. Stayed for Los Lonely Boys!!! After 46 bands, I wanted to stay and maybe make it to 50, but sooner or later we've all gotta make it back to the real world. Camp Krusty rules!

Arrived in Lawrence Wednesday night and slept at a friends
Arrived at campsite about 400 Thursday
Left after Hot Buttered Rum String Band Sunday night
Drove 12 hours Monday morning and slept until 5 oclock today
We got to Camp Cletus at about 4:00 on Thurs and left about 10am Monday. Made it back to the tent for the storm. Our new tent performed great and didn't give at all. I think that I would have rather had rain in the tent than chiggers. Had a great time and am looking forward to next year!
It's hard to adjust and concentrate at work.

This music is a monster of energy, storming and raging within itself, forever changing.

Dang, Randall! We were in Cletus also, almost the exact time frame too. We were along the west side of trees toward the middle. Had a black truck with a wooden frame off the bed holding up a giant blue tarp. It fit perfectly in Camp Cletus...felt like a couple of hillbillies camping in the woods  . But it sure came in handy when the tent started leaking!!! And it held up great Monday morning with the next round of wind & rain too! I loved our spot. Not too crowded, nice people & fun neighbors! But those port-a-potties were awful! ICK! I had a great time though...even dreamt about Wakarusa last night :D .

We had the blue flag with a giant white \"X\" on it and a red beach ball hanging on our flag pole. We arrived about 5 am Thursday morning and left camp about the last ones on Monday at 5 pm. Gotta make the vacation last as long as possible.

Hi neighbor. I remember seeing your tarp and truck. We didn't have any real landmark at our site - just a white Jeep and a big tent. I loved our spot too but we will explore somewhere else next time. Did you get the notorious Camp Cletus Chigger (CCC)? I heard that the CCC was the biggest baddest Chig of em all - 5 times the size of the Camp Krusty Chigger (CKC). Why no camp Homer I wonder? :?
Keep dreamin! :D
