At Wakarusa, my boyfriend and I bought a two-year subscription to Relix. I still have not received July or August issues. I have been in contact with a Michelle at Relix and she has given me the runaround. At the beginning of July she said: \"should receive his first issue- July - in the next week/ 2 weeks or so, then the August issue shortly after.\"

Then she said in the next email: \"Unfortunately, all the Wakarusa orders were taken by hand, then had to be entered manually into our database, which is a very time consuming process.

____ subscription has been entered, and he'll get the July issue
shortly, within 3-5 business days. The August issue will follow shortly
after, and only the first magazine will take this long to get to him.

Thanks for your patience!

Take care,
Michelle

Has anyone else received the runaround from Relix? They said a week, a few days, blah, blah. I just want an honest answer or my money back. I don't understand how it could take two months for them to enter the mailing information and have a magazine sent out in the mail.

ME TOO!

I never thought I would use all the juice in my free lighter before I was able to enjoy a copy of the mag itself! They better hurry up because I've seen issues since I signed up on the shelfs and I want them!

TWO MONTHS and I finally received my July/August issues. All it took were threats, begging, threats and more begging. Basically, we said that if we didn't receive our issues this week, then we wanted our money returned ASAP. This week, we got them shipped to our house by priority mail. I suggest that ya'll do the same.

I guess this is what happens when a magazine is run by a bunch of heads...although AHT doesn't seem to have too many problems.

I saw some AHT t-shirts at the Bragg Jam in Macon GA, but I still have not had my hands on a Mag to check it out. I like the Relix I looked at, but don't know if I want to sign up after reading all this. I get Blender, but it's got nothing on the Jam world. poor me :(

I was extremely disappointed in Relix's customer service department. I was flat-out lied to. My boyfriend was flat-out lied to. Only after we threatened to take our business else where is when they got on the ball. I was given the runaround for two months. I love the articles, coverage, etc. but I just can't believe that!

Hi! I write for AHT. We gave out a bunch of copies at Wakarusa, wish I would've seen you when we had them. But to answer JustBob, you can find out more about An Honest Tune on our site http://anhonesttune.com -- I think you'd like it.

I also read Relix (feel compelled to buy all the mags that are covering the bands I like, Hittin' The Note is another good mag - just don't do the R.S.). I have had no problems with my Relix subscription (didn't get it at Wakarusa though).

Very disappointed in Relix. I subscribed at the festival and still have not recieved an issue. I have also emailed Relix and gotten no response at all. I have a couple of friends who subscribed as well with no magazines yet. Considering all of the complaints. I think it would be a reasonable courtesy to have the folks in charge of vending/sponsors for Wakarusa to contact Relix regarding the complaints.

Hello all,

I'm the Subscription and Fulfillment Manager at Relix and feel the need to post a reply to the previous posts. I acknowledge and apologize for the incredibly long delay in getting you folks signed up. Whenever we do these festival promotion we can usually turn them around in less than 4 weeks....... 12 weeks is unacceptable.

Unfortunately we recently had to do a conversion on our subscription system which delayed our processing of the cards from Wakarusa, All Good, Coventry, High Sierra, Reggae on the River, Northwest String Summit and Grassroots festival.

We are not in the business of ripping folks off, nor do we like it when our customer service is affected by events which in the long run will result in more efficient customer service, but in the short time result in frustration on your part.

These subscriptions will be active with the next issue, with the issue mailing around 10/20. I will also be sending the last issue as a courtesy for the delay, and it will not be included in the term of your subscription. In effect an additional two issues will be added onto the sub you've purchased.

If anyone would like an immediate refund,I will respect that decision and ask that you contact me directly via email.

Once again my most sincere apologies for the delays. I must also pass on my respect to Michelle Bellino, who was placed in an impossible situation by her previous supervisor. She was unable to effect any changes on your subscriptions and was forced to ask to you to wait....the wait is now over.

Kind Regards,

Alex Anderssen
Fulfillment Subscription Manager.
