Approximately the same time time give or take a weekend or two. We've got to wait on the bands pretty much.
You guys will be the first to know...

It's so sad...but we're all already thinking about next year. I can't wait. I just hope it doesn't get overcrowded and overcommercialized like Bonnaroo. I liked it the way it was...but I am sure that didn't make much money...

Aw, no, nctrnl, it's not sad. It's all good. I'm a planner. I esp. like to plan my music events and have lots of time to look forward to them. Waka was sooooo much fun for me-my very first camping music fest and i just can't wait to do it again. Another board i post on is the new orleans jazz and heritage festival chat and we talk jazzfest and music year round. just can't get enough of the good stuff. BTW, jazzfest is not just about jazz, yall. There are 11 stages at this event that goes from 11 am to 7pm and then turns you loose on Nawlins for an unbelievable number of nighttime shows. Check it out at www.nojazzfest.com

don't make it father's day weekend again...the summer solstice might be a good choice, although, that is when SCI's Horning's is. That's a plus or minus depending on who you are though.

Would have to agree on the Pop's day weekend. Ex-wife was really pissed at me, but then again...Perhaps that would be a great date again

Me too Umph... I had to turn my Dad down on a father and son golf tourney last year. Dad and I are getting to old to miss too many of Dad's days. :(

Y'all don't need a holliday to see your fathers. Plan something with them a couple weeks before or after and let them know you have a party to attend.

YYR, Bob! I believe it is the Wakarusian custome to celebrate our fathers on the first weekend in June, which will be Sunday, June 5 in 05.

I really hope it's not Father's Day again. I was really disappointed last year that I couldn't be with my kids. I may skip it this year if it's that weekend again.
I'd really like to participate though.

It looks like Bonnaroo have announced dates for next year.
The fourth annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is confirmed to take place June 10 - 12, 2005. The three-day camping and music festival will once again be held on the same beautiful, 700-acre farm in Manchester, TN, 60 miles southeast of Nashville.
Stay tuned to the website and mailing list for all info including lineup announcements, ticketing info, special activities and more. We are looking forward to another incredible festival and to seeing you all in Manchester!
Sounds like they may be back to back again. That is probably a positive thing regarding getting bands that are on the road at the time.

Funny, the first couple of years it was a beautiful 500 acre farm. Sounds like somebody is expanding...you just gotta love that 5 mile hike to Centeroo.

I think they have a great thing going for them, but they let it get too big. It would have been nice to go the 1st year. I missed out. Oh well.

The one thing they do have going for them is they've had Buckethead there every year. If only Wakarusa could book him...

I just saw on the Greyhounds site that they will be at Wakarusa June 17. Looks like the same weekend. Now I'm anxious to see the line-up! Does anyone remember when it was released last year? It seems like it was around February or so........I'm ready for some good music & sun! Ahhhhh! :D

I believe that they announced on March 8th last year. I am pretty sure that they plan to have something announced before Bonnaroo tickets go onsale.

The weekend of June 17th through the 19th would conflict with Telluride.
That would be a crying shame...
