Hey, everybody. My name's Ben. Me and a few fellas are headed to Wakarusa from Iowa, and if you're looking for a convoy...well, I guess you found one.

I'm in Greene County, which is about halfway between Sioux City and the southern Iowa border. Tell your boyz to get on-site and we can probably arrange something from here.

There will be a caravan headed down from Omaha, if you're traveling south on I-29 we just might have to meet up! Are you staying in upgraded camping?

I'm close enough to Des Moines that I'll probably be taking I-35 most of the way. Anybody is free to travel with me and the boyz.

What's a good time for me to aim for getting there? I mean, how long does the line to get in usually last, etc.?

my friends and i arrived last year on thurday about 1 in the afternoon and there was no line plus we got a prime campning spot in general camping right on the road and about a 2 min walk from the bathrooms!!! and we didnt have that far to walk to a no waka stop and the walk to the campground stages wasnt to bad either about 10 min.!!!!! i would say anytime thurday afternoon would be a good time to arrive!!! :D

Me and my girlfriend will be staying in a town called Osceola, Ia on June 7th. We will be leaving at about 6:00 a.m. on the 8th. If that's close to where your convoy will be, it would be awesome to get in on that. If not, hope you all have a great time. Get back to me.

Leaving on Wednesday, have place to stay in kansas city then off to the campground for the 8am opening of campgrounds.

I will be heading out of IC at around 8am. It would be cool for us easterners (eastern Iowa) to meet up with the rest of the convoy. Maybe we could all camp in the same area....
