i believe that there were a couple courses set up near the campgrounds. as the festival gets closer and closer, i'm sure all of this information will be posted so that people can plan.

They had 27 holes set up last year. I'm not sure how many will be up this time, but disc golf for sure.

97.3 The Planet said they would pay to make the course's permanent if there was a second annual... lets see if they hold up their end of the bargain-- we will play disc tho

frisbee golf thats awesome. does it get real crowded to where there is no point in trying to find your disc?

Not at all. Last year was 27 holes in 3 sets of 9. You almost never had people ridding your back. Also, remember that your going to be at Wakarusa. A festival full of like minded brothers and sisters. If your walking the tall grass hunting for your disc, just ask the next people if they want to play through.

If it does get too crowded, just hop into town and play Centenial Park. I'm hoping they make the Clinton Lake course(s) permanent. Last I heard the local disc golf club was still looking for funds for permanent baskets.

The grass was way too tall. Made it really easy to lose discs. Plus I think that's where I got hit by chiggers.

This may just be a rumor, but I heard that the \"founder\" of Wakarusa was a frisbee golf champion.

There is definitely a world champion in the house.
