OK, who have we identified will be playing Waka from resources such as Pollstar, Jambase, band websites, etc. that haven't been 'officially' announced and added to the artist listing on the website? I assume these will all be part of tomorrow's announcement. I compiled the following list -
STS9
Larry Keel
Hot Buttered Rum String Band
Hackensaw Boys
Speakeasy
Shady Deal
Deep Fried Pickle Project
Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band
Alfred Howard & K-23 Orchestra
Papa Mali
William Elliott Whitmore
Am I missing anyone?

btw, thanks for the blues game, had a good time, it seemed the girls enjoyed talking to each other; you never know, sometimes girls can be 'catty' !

Hey Randy - nice to finally put a face to your name last week.
I had heard about Hackensaw Boys and a lot of the others, but hadn't seen Papa Mali's name before. He was one of those acts that I caught at last year's Wakarusa who really blew me away. Did you see his show at Rock Island back in January? It was some kick-ass swampy, bluesy, funk trio sickness!!! I hope he gets another late night set this year.

I missed the Schwag/Spookie/Papa Mali show in January, however I pulled the show off the Archive several weeks ago after reading the positive reviews of the show on the Moheads board. Show sounds great! I missed him at Waka last year, really looking forward to catching him this year.

THe Rev Peyton's Big Damn Band rules. Best band I have seen in years...in fact, I saw them last night at SXSW.
