I have an idea.

I think many of us, especially those of us not sure that we have friends that are going, should try to meet up somewhere at the festival.

I do know there is a large crew coming from Fayetteville, AR but none of them are really good friends. So I'm probably going to end up driving alone.

I'm not so sure how easy it's going to be trying to find some peeps I know when I get there. Bummer.

Anyways, I think we could coordinate a little get together perhaps on Friday or Saturday and blaze up, drink up, and then go listen to some awesome tunes together.

If this sounds like a good idea, post on here and throw some ideas around.

I too am coming from LR and going through Fayetteville, if anyone needs a ride. And I\"m always down to meet up with some new people. Maybe we could meet up at the coffee shop before a certain show on Fri. since it is between the camping and the stages, how does that sound? What's the first show everyone wants to see

Well, this sounds like a good idea.

my guess is the easist thing to do is meet up in Camp Larrytown. Many of the local Freaks are organizing a giant group campground. We are thinking of placing it around the trees directly on the other side of the mainstages. We will have a huge parrachute, although I am not sure of the color yet. When I know more i'll post it though.

Sounds good! Not trying to overstep with the meeting time I posted above. By the way TeamB, is the Revival Tent Soundboard an OK meeting spot? Obviously I have not seen the layout, I am just guessing there will be a visible soundboard, at the smallest stage, which might provide a meeting spot people can locate.

Plus my secret goal to get everyone to see Speakeasy -- or, \"WTF Speakeasy\" as they are known on this forum.

Well yea. My name's Charles. I used to play sax in Grandpa's Goodtime Fandango (GGF) for about 2.5 years in Fayetteville. Perhaps you would know me that way. Chances are if you knwo me that way you might have some other not so good memories of me!!! I used to be a little nuts!

Anyways, I like the idea of meeting at the Revival tent on Friday in front of the board before Epeakeasy starts playing.

Incidentally I have played with Speakeasy twice at Chester's and tried to hook up with em for the festival but I think they have forgotten about little ol' me!

Looking forward to seeing everyone there, oh and btw I can't leave until Thursday at 5:00, right after work. It was the best I could do.

Not at all friend, not at all. We can do as many meetups as we wish. I actually like the idea of all the Arkansas folks getting together for a big WTF Speakeasy chant...I don't see why the Revival Soundboard wouldn't work for a good spot (I'll double check though).

I wish Speakeasy had a forum! (Their new site has a place for one, but it's not working yet). When it is we can cuss them on their own site! LOL

Knowing the boys, I have a feeling they will not take offence. They kinda get off on crowd interaction. At the last show I saw we had another interactive move going, on \"Red 5\" you can do a 1-2-3-4-5 count off with your fingers in the air, that goes with the song perfectly. They dug it. Wait until they get a load of me and Bob shouting WTF at the band. Hahahaha!

Man, Speakeasy got scheduled awefully... early in the fest. Just one slot, on Friday afternoon. I think they will be real glad to have us shouting obscenities at them. Maybe get some ppl's attention as they enter the fest.
