Does anyone know of an recent interview where Jay said he would be interested in playing with jeff again, but that it had to happen soon or he wouldn't be able to hit all those high notes?

I didn't see this myself, a friend told me. But Wakarusa would seem like the perfect venue for an impromptu moment

I read the same article...I think it was in The Onion just a little while back and when I saw that SonVolt was playing Waka w/ Wilco...How could they resist a reunion like that??? :)

I noticed on www.jayfarrar.net that Jay has his sceduled performance with Son Volt at Wakarusa on June 17th and also has a listing for a solo set at Wakarusa on June 18th. I believe the solo set is the opening where IF (and that's a HUGE IF) this could (and that a HUGE COULD) happen. Would be sweet and a sort of historic thing.
