Yea, sure, it's 6/6/06--but I also wanted to bring up that the Flaming Lips are performing in GERMANY tonight...heading to Lawrence to perform on Saturday.... then heading BACK to London for a show on the 23rd. They're amazing! 8)

I just read the new Lips biography, STARING AT SOUND. A fun read, and the perfect companion piece to Bradley Beasley's film, \"The Fearless Freaks\". The book was written by Chicago music critic Jim DeRogatis, who wrote the Lester Bangs bio, \"Let It Blurt\". Lots of interviews with the band, as it tracks the band from the beginning all the way to \"At War With The Mystics\".
