Hey everybody.

Just wondering who all will be at Bonnaroo this year, although I imagine that many of you have already left. Several of us from Wakarusa are renting an RV and will be down there handing out flyers, so be sure to say hi if you see any of us. Safe travels everyone and we'll be seeing you soon! -TeamB (David and John)

Just checking for news on Bonnaroo, and I read that a 20 year old kid from Michigan died this afternoon, OD. Another kid broke both his legs after he jumped off an overpass, mistaking it for a wall.....

Friday, about 1:30 p.m., a young man died from an apparent drug overdose combined with effects from heat at the Bonnaroo music event, according to Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves.

Graves said the 20-year-old man, a Bonnaroo festival-goer from Michigan, was taken to Medical Center of Manchester, where he was pronounced dead.

He attended the event with his mother, Graves said.

The man's death represents the first fatality at Bonnaroo this year, Graves added.

Earlier in the morning, at 3:37 a.m., another man in his early 20s jumped off an interstate bridge between mile marker 111 westbound and 112, mistaking it for a wall.

The Bonnarite, Chris Omer from Linda, California, fell 45 feet into a shallow creek, breaking both of his legs, according to Graves.

He was airlifted by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition, according to Manchester Fire Chief Sam Miller.

He was accompanied by two other men who immediately sold their tickets and followed him to the hospital, Miller said.

In an incident unrelated to Bonnaroo, a state trooper responding to a report of an 18-wheeler on fire about 3 p.m. Friday, was badly injured when one of the rig's tires blew up, hitting him in the face, Graves said.

The truck's rear axle had caught fire, causing the tire to explode. At the time of the incident, the tractor-trailer was parked just off Interstate 24 near the 122-mile marker.

I just got back from Mudfest2k4 (Bonnaroo) and am much more stoked for the Wakarusa environment. Having attended all three Bonnaroo's, I don't like the direction the feti is going. Regardless, myself and a crew from Springfield, MO are coming up early Thursday to catch some tribe that night! Looking forward to a nice clean festival. See ya there
