New Monsoon

Has anyone been listening to New Monsoon? I just heard them for the first time the other day, and they're definitely one of my favorite new bands.

Saw them at MagFest and loved everything about them. I get to see them at Langerado, Uphonia, and then Waka. weeeee

I love me some New Monsoon. I was actually listening to Downstream in the car this morning.

They played a show at the Freebird last year shortly after Jam Cruise that ranks up there as one of my husband's favorites. I really wanted to go but couldn't because our babysitter backed out at the last minute. Hanging out after the show, Eric started talking to some of the guys and told them about what happened. They were so nice, they took one of their tour posters (an awesome Drowning Creek) off the merch table and the entire band signed it to me with all sorts of \"sorry we missed you\" stuff. The music is wonderful, but that kind of thing sealed the deal and made me a fan for life. :D

I just hope I won't have to make a choice between New Monsoon and another band! Can we TiVo concerts at waka? lol

some of the nicest guys around and they put on a damn good show. i second that hope of not having to choose between them and another band.

actually, i'd choose them over anybody else :D :)
