Spun and Distance to Empty

Ok everyone...I want to let you know that on Sunday from 4:30-8:30 these two bands will take over the Electronic Stage to preform. Spun is a great band from Michigan and are very very psyched to come to Lawrence and spread their musical word unto us. Then of course one of the coolest bands to come out of our area will open. Distance to Empty. If you have not heard of them...well you might want to check out the Jazzhaus tonight (friday). They will be rocking it out in their catchy rock style. Great....so then we will see you there...tell everyone that this will be a preformance that they will not want to miss. I am very very glad that they will get to play the festival...and I am glad to expose a whole new crowd of people to their music. What do you liken their music to?

I'm from Manhattan and have been involved in the scene for quite a long time. I actually brought DTE to the bars for the first time many years back. Has Spun actually played in Manhattan yet? If so...I missed out...
