hey everyone! we just wanted to let everyone know that we will be doing henna free of charge this year. instead of being in the vendor areas, we will be doing designs right at our campsite! though directions are hard to give, we will be in general camping with a huge orange tent and a little green ford taurus. we'll also be arriving early on thursday. hopefully we'll have some signs set up so that everyone can figure out where we are from there. we also plan to pass out little sheets that'll tell what times we'll be around on each day. yes! thursday through sunday! henna everyday! so, if you'd like to get some designs done, feel free to stop on by. also, we'll be posting our design times up on the forum later on today.

in other information, we will not be using pre-mixed or black henna. instead, we're using a made-from-scratch mixture, so no need to worry about allergic reactions. :D plus, the henna we have is from a little indian lady in topeka who runs a store called Cosmos. everything she has is very good quality. if there's a specific design you want or if you have a photo of a design you've had before, feel free to bring it along so that we've got something to look at. we'll also have designs to browse through right at the tent.

next year we'll try to get in vendor information so that we will be over in the arts and crafts area. until then, come see the Henna Girls over in the camp!

I was just going back after I posted that and saw I was replying to last years deal.

HA!

I don't feel so bad that someone else was excited a whole year later :)

yeah . . and they havn't posted since soooo . . . probably not happening, but gives jimbo a great idea for something else.

Also, is anyone else interested in taking this up???

BTW, I remember this big orange tent (think the circus). I used it often to find my own camp site late/early in the day when all the stages shut down. Of coarse, it still took me an hour on avg. (depending on my level of \"intoxication\" at the time . . . oh those were the days :P
