Recyclerusa Props

[Wandering Toes]

I just wanted to send out some thanks and big props to the Recyclerusa heads. This was my first time really getting involved with this kind of program and it was a more than rewarding experience.

Not only did I get a free shirt and a CD for bringing two bags of recyclables, but I won two tickets to the STS9 and J5 show at Red Rocks :!: (Never been to Colorado, nor this notorious venue.) I still can't believe it. :shock:

Extra thanks to the volunteers, Mike and Tom, from the Recyclerusa booth for helping me sort my bottles...
...and extra, extra, special thanks to Tom. It was so nice meeting and chilling with you....and you made my day by coming to find me and tell me about the STS9 tix. You're good people. Keep in touch with Chris and I!

Thanks so much everyone! It was so much fun contacting all the local businesses, bands, and Fat Tire about collecting such great give-aways. It was even more fun watching adults get truly excited about recycling (kids are so easy, all you have to do is say the R word and they light up).

Really, it's thanks to people like you who appreciate what we are doing because YOU help keep the festival clean and green. We just help provide the avenue...

Again, thanks so much, and we're super pumped for 2007!!!

Recycalusa is defenently worth participating with. Thanks for the shirt! I'll be helping this year too for sure! :lol:
