to the boys camped right next to me who rescued my collapsing canopy while i was in town getting groceries, thank you sooo very much. as well as thank you to the couple who helped me put it up thursday morning.
to billy, the one with the black dreads and kept walking up and down 2nd street and saying hello every single time he passed us sitting on the intersection of crazy lane. what sweetness!
to josh who i met walking down wakarusa. this was on sunday morning. i left my car outside the grounds and had to walk out to get it before drum circle. when i was almost there, i remembered i left my keys in the tent on 5th and crazy lane and had to walk back. when i had almost reached the porch, josh said hello, introduced himself, and gave me a drink of his smoothie from juice stop. it was the most amazing thing i'd ever tasted. he offered to have me over to his campsite to hang out. i tried to catch up with him later, but never saw him again. thank you so much josh. that was a rough morning, and you made it all better.
also, to daniel whom i met during sound tribe sector nine while waiting for two friends of mine. i lost him in the crowd and he was incredibly incredibly sweet.
in general, a great big thank you to absolutely everyone at wakarusa. truly, all the most amazing people in the world. i hope i get to see you all again face-to-face. i can't wait for next year and the joy of seeing all of your wonderful faces for four more days! i love you all!
