Their new cd was released yesterday and damn it is amazing. They're playing at Bonnaroo..they should totally play Wakarusa. Its hard to describe them...they seem pretty influenced by Santana and Pink Floyd...incredible musicians who know how to jam out AND rock out. http://www.themarsvolta.com

I don't really have anything fresh to add; I just wanted to agree these guys are incredible and it would be neat to see them at Wakarusa.

I just got Frances the Mute today....WOW!!! This guys are unbelievable! Some of the sickest stuff I've ever heard. Get them to WAKA!!

yeah, surely they would blow away a lot of people, and give wakarusa a good progressive rocking-out element that its lacking. Hurry up and get them at Wakarusa before they get too big, because they are blowing up FAST.

the mars volta are such a rockin group! they make amazing music. Even though i'm arleady seeing them in boson at the avalon in may ,i would still love to see them make it out to kansas. might as well, they're gonna be at bonnaroo!

Yeah I'm seein 'em in Minneapolis in May...but a show at Wakarusa would be so much better.

i really hope that they perform deloused at the comatorium on tour. i'd be so disappointed if they didn't, that is such a brilliant album. but yeah, a show at wakarusa would be a really awesome and mood changing addition to the lineup

i'm super excited to see these guys. i've never seen them but i like what i hear and i've got a sneaking feeling their show will be one of the big surprises of Wakarusa, IMO. can't wait, almost april....

They aren't booked yet! (that we know of). Lets hope they get booked...Wakarusa needs more ROCK.
