View Full Version : VIP Camping vs Upgraded Camping
Hello,
I've been looking around and am a little confused on the nature of the VIP camping and then the camping upgrades. We're planning on getting VIP tickets, which includes VIP camping, but if want upgraded camping with a firepit then one of us needs to purchase an additional upgraded camping correct?
Or do all of us need to then purchase both the VIP tix and upgraded camping?
Thanks for all your help,
Dog

That is correct. If your group would rather take advantage of the upgraded camping instead of the VIP camping then one of you needs to purchase an upgraded camping pass, which is good for two vehicles holding eight or less people. With VIP tickets you guys will also have access to all beverage and food services as well as well as special viewing areas in front of the stages.

And Team B, wouldn't you each need a vip ticket plus one upgrade ticket for the whole group if you want the advantages of vip but want to camp down the road in upgrade?
Ok, I think that is our route then, we want to be able to have a fire pit at our campsite is all, and from other threads I noticed they aren't at the VIP camp areas.
One other question, only because I need to know for sure: VIP means free beer for three days? I only ask because I'm not sure if they know who they are selling this too... ;)
Also, for Team B, I run an Internet Radio station (as seen below), and we play many of the artists at Wakarusa, could we possibly work out an advertising exchange or would it be possible to meet some of the artists more directly?

That is correct kitti, sorry if I didn't make that clear. Also free beer means free beer, as much as you can drink from 12p-12a. If you get there on Thursday night than this means four days of free beer instead of three.
In regards to the radio station let me run this scenario by a few people and I'll get back to you.
TeamB,
Sounds good. Feel free to contact at dog@creamyradio.com if you like to discuss any options. We'd be willing to offer anything we can to help out.

TEAMS B - Are there any rules against VIP'ers taking their beer from the main stage to another stage? For example, if I want to see an act at a stage without beverage service can I grab a few beers from the main stage and carry them to another stage? Any rules of VIP'ers carrying beers from the festival area back their campsites?

This all started by someone reading my post wrong. All 3 stages will have beer.

Beer will not be allowed to be taken outside the VIP area but each stage will have beverage service available. You will also be allowed to take your beer into the VIP viewing area in front of the stage.

We have currently reopened the discussion about allowing VIP ticket holders to take ONE beer out of the VIP area. We'll let you know what comes of it as soon as the decision is made.

That would seriously be great..... it would just make things a lot easier; especially for those of us with friends not in VIP.

Yeah Team B, that really would be so much nicer.
I bought my VIP tickets under the impression that I could carry a beer with me wherever I want to go anyway. I was kind of disspointed when I read you can only drink the free beer in a certain area, but I can understand why you would want it that way.
