Does anyone know why the Central Plains Jamband Society's website is down?

The hackers won. A new site on a new server will be up soon. We should have a forum straight away but the rest of the site may take a while to rebuild. Our previous site was hacked with malicious code, our server was attaching other servers and we had to take the site down (actually the entire server had to be shut down). Our site was completely corrupted. We have all the archives backed up and we have space on a new server but we have to upgrade everything for security purposes. Since this is all done on a volunteer basis (at least for now, I think we are going to try to create a budget for web management after this incident), it may take our webmaster a little while to get it back up and running. I hope that the site will be back up this week. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

It's no inconvenience, I was just curious. I'm sorry about the website. Your message board is one of my main sources of music information, so I kinda feel lost without it. This board is good and Jambase has most of the area shows listed, but you guys cover all of the local bands too.

Thanks so much for the kind words. You are not the only one that feels lost. We do recognize the value of the site and we are doing our best to get it back up. We are actually uploading our backups now and I we will probably have the forum back in the next day or so.

Well apparently it is going to take a little longer than I had hoped to get things back up. We will be back soon though.
