I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO WAKA BUT ONE OF THE REASONS I WANTED TO GO IS THE SMALLER SIZE OF THE FEST. ROO IS JUST WAY TO OUT OF CONTROL NOW. HOW MANY TICKETS ARE THERE TIL IT SI SOLD OUT? I AM DIGGIN THE INTAMENT ATMOSPHERE.

i heard they were going to cap it at 30,000 total. i guess only around 10,000 went last summer. my guess is about 20,000 will go this summer, (total speculation on my part)...overall much smaller than Bonnaroo and IMO just about as good a line-up and i think they are going to add even more music.

peace,

The main reason I decided to attend this summer was the size of this festival. Among all the other fantastic reasons, i.e.: PRICE!! It's in a state park, which I assume means that there are more than two trees there and the line-up is diverse and fantastic.
I've attended Bonnaroo the last two summers and will most likely never return. The size of that festival is absolutely unbelievable. If you have never been to something that size, it's impossible to imagine how many people 100,000 really is. It's more of a hassle than it's worth. (having said that the shows I saw there were all great)
Looking very forward to Wakarusa.
