View Full Version : John Popper project with DJ Logic
i see that the John Popper Project with DJ Logic is playing some shows coming up. I wonder if they would like to come to Wakarusa? That would be pretty dope, Popper has had a big influence on the jamband scene with the HORDE Tour and early BT. Both Popper and DJ Logic can sit in with just about anyone, which would be great for Wakarusa. What do other people think of that idea?

#7, I'm with you on the Popper/DJ Logic gig. Both know how to move a crowd into a serious dance groove. Have not seen/heard John (and Blues Traveler) since they opened for Ziggy Marley about 18 months ago. I caught DJ Logic in Bees Cave, TX when he opened 3 nites for Panic in Oct. 2003.
I'm ready!

This is the best idea i've heard of yet. Let's make this happen. How about it Team B. Is this possible? We need some real pioneers of the jam band scene to be here. Who else is down for this?

I was kind of hoping for the same. Popper would be an incredible addition to the line-up.
Team B - Is the JPP on your radar screen?

Naturally they are but it's getting harder and harder to fit people into the lineup. The sets are going to be longer this year so do the math so to speak.
I will tell you guys that we've still got a few tricks up our sleeves...
