Upgraded camping questions...

TeamB- I have a question about upgraded camping. It says on the wakarusa site that there will only be two tents allowed per upgraded camping site. Now we have 4 couples camping at our site and we all have smaller 2 man Mt. Hardware tents. So we have a total of 4 small tents. Are we going to be able to set these up? I guess I just don't understand the policy. We are still only going to have 8 people camping there, but we need more than two tents.

Also, How do you expect 8 of us to get in there in just one car. Not to mention, we have a ton of gear that were taking with us. I was out at the festival site a few days ago and it looked like we could fit two cars in the little driveways to the upgraded spots. Is this going to be a possibility. How will this be monitored? hanging passes, stickers or what?

Lastly, I intend of getting there at 8:00 am on thursday moring. Are you guys going to fill the upgraded camping closer to the venue first. I hope that you will and also you will start with the closest spot and then travel back.

Hey, WW, most of team b is at bonnaroo. Here's the answer to part of your question from some of their other posts: yo, can anybody maybe team B clarify this. we may only have 2 tents per upgraded site but 8 of may occupy that site. how set is this because none of us have tents that large to hold that many people. we hope to have the tents close to each other so we do not take up a lot of space but only 2 tents is gonna be very hard. please respond with info. thanks...nick

As long as you aren't encroaching on your neighbors space then it shouldn't be a problem.

Hello folks.

There seems to be a lot of questions surrounding the actual size of the primitive camping sites. Just to let you know, we have estimated them to be approximately 15'x20'. This is per vehicle. If you have two vehicles that are parked next to each other, then you have a larger campsite. However, we are DEFINITELY not encouraging people to drive multiple cars strictly for more camping space. There will be enough room for everyone, so just relax and be prepared for a wonderful time. -David
