Yes, there is a nice little beach on the lake that is very accessible.

Wow - I haven't heard about this yet!

Definitly looking forward to that.

What was the weather like last year??

The weather was very cool, almost unseasonably so. It wasn't frigid or anything but it was nice to have a jacket handy during the late night hours. There was a huge storm Thursday night the likes of which we hadn't seen around here in a long time. However since all the rainwater drains to the lake extremely quickly there was virtually no mud or prolonged dampness.

Only time will tell what the weather is going to be like this year but it shouldn't be too extreme in either direction.

Is swimming only allowed at the one designated beach area?

Ajones6 and I were talking yesterday, and we play on buy some type of floatie to cruise around the lake in and drink some beers, like a huge alligator or mini-boat. Who else is in?

Yes, we would greatly prefer you to swim at the designated beach area. It's a wonderful spot though and after seeing it you won't want to swim anywhere else.

Yeah! I just bought a big 2 person raftboat for about $20. It's big enough to fit me (5.2\") and my boyf (6.3\") plus our 60gal cooler full of beer. I just wanted to get that out there cuz I always have some kind of floatie when I go lake swimming. Parents- remember your kids life jackets!
