Ozomatli and Galactic overlap for me, but overall I think I will have a good chance to see everyone I want to. I am really excited about Sunday. That looks like a hell of a time. I am kind of dissapointed about the long ass WSP set, but I know there will still be a lot going on if I don't find myself at that show. I'm just not much of a Widespread fan, but their show could be amazing.

Waka! :)

WTF??

As some predicted, only one main stage.

I think one main stage will be great. There was too much going on anyway. Still a great selection at any time of day!

And, if there's a timeslot that you don't dig any of the music, you could spend that time decorating your camp (oooh! foreshadowing!)

its a nice schedule...not nearly as good as those in the past years though. there are a handful of schedule conflicts, as well as periods where there isn't much that interests me.

papa mali vs. spam allstars vs. savoy?
p groove vs. raq vs. delta nove?
not enough interesting stuff on friday afternoon/evening...after toubab krewe i'm gonna be all pumped up with nothing particularly exciting afterwards, then I'll have to kill 3 hours between Ras Neville and the Ozrics
Ozrics vs. Pnuma trio?!!?!?!?
Saturday afternoon looks awesome, but Saturday evening looks lame (for non WP fans like me) until That 1 Guy at 11:00
Ozrics vs. Everyone Orchestra?!?!?!?
No Groovatron until 3 AM?
Asylum Street Spankers only get 45 minutes on Sunday morning?
Not much to see on Sunday afternoon...
MMW>Spearhead>Claypool on Sunday? that would've been better on Saturday, I'm gonna have to save some energy somehow...

It seems like they booked more bands and have fewer stages...kind of a lame decision I think. I'm sure it'll still be awesome though.

this made my weekend.

not too many conflicts for me. friday night looks weak until the YMSB > TLG in the tent. bummed that les is playing that late on sunday because I will probably have to leave before then. somehow it seems like there are more bands, less stages and more holes in the schedule than years past. I'm not sure how that happened, but overall I'm still really really stoked.

Aaarrghhh! WP v. Son Volt! Guess it's only one set of WP for me! But it will put me in a good place for Ozric, althought the segue will be a bit odd! I love it!
How many days? :D :D :D

Hell yeah, I don't have too many conflicts, and most of those are bands that play twice.

The best part is Sunday is my girlfriend's birthday and what seems to be one of the most consistently best days on the main stage/revival tent area for our tastes.

Ah now the contemplation begins. I'm curious to see how well I plan and how many I plan for that I'll actually see. We all know how that goes.

Damn, I've been waiting for this schedule forever but now this makes the wait for June so much tougher!

I got to give it up to PolyO on this one, his critique is sad but true and spot on.

P-Groove vs. RAQ on Thursday night is like a punch to the nuts. It really F*cking hurts.

I don?t know who The Nightwatchman are but a 30min set on the main stage. What the hell is that all about?

That 1 Guy got the shaft with a 45min set.

ALO should not have a late night set on Friday; they are more of a daytime band. That slot should have gone to Galactic. I am shocked that Galactic was scheduled to play at 8:00pm Friday night, they are a late night bring the ass kicking funk band.

Saturday is looking kind of week. Saturday night looks good but if one sticks around till the end of Lotus or Groovatron they won?t have much energy for Sunday.

Everyone for the most part is wiped when Sunday roles around, Poly is right, Saturday and Sunday schedule should have been switched around. Sunday?s line up is strong but where going to be so wiped its going to painful to get down proper.

Waka will be a great time none the less but I was really expecting more when it came to the stage schedule.

I would say the Nightwatchman show is a tweener set. Morello playing accoustic. He has one album, few sales, and not a huge following yet. He isn't headlining anything.

One main stage is great assuming the stage they knocked off is the far one.

Looks good to me. There are conflicts but that's festival for you.

Amen BH. I would never had imagined that Galactic would be in the Revival Tent as the sun was going down as opposed to when the sun was coming up. I don't think the band is even awake at 8:00 p.m. Ozomatli's website had them at 3:00 Friday and we were so pumped to see them Friday afternoon with a later show from Galactic. Big time let down that Waka has them playing at the same time.

This is the best schedule yet! I actually dig the few 1-2 hour spots that I don't have to see a band. Maybe I'll have some energy for Sunday's push at the end...

People like you piss off people that work their asses off to give us all as good of a time as possible. Sure, it's Tom Morello, but it's also an acoustic set without a strong fanbase. Hell, he might have even requested a shorter set....

This schedule ROCKS!

...all I have to say is LOTUS on the main stage on Sat afternoon and Saturday late night. (drool!)

Looks like my LOTUS campaign worked out or at least sparked some though with the planners!

Lawrence Letterday on the porch? Are you kidding me? This is insane! I've known their singer all my life, he's barely even 16 right now. They sound almost exactly like Blink 182. This should be interesting...

I beg to differ. One of the best Galactic shows I ever saw was at Waka 2004. That was around 8:00 PM I think, and they tore it up. Yeah, it would be nice to see them at a late night show, but I think they will definitely be awake at 8:00.

Anyway, I think the schedule is great. Sure, there are a few conflicts but to all those complaining and giving your suggestions for how to do it better, those changes would make it better for YOU, but worse for someone else. There's no way to schedule this number of bands and make everyone happy.

I'm content w/the schedule! Looks like I get to see everything I want!
