For those of you that have been out to the lake recently, do you the think that the water will have gone down enough so that we are able to enjoy the beach area during the festival?
I hope this rain stops! I need sunshine :P

I drove down the dam today. It's a good thing I have the ability to part waters, or else I would have been screwed.
The water is indeed high, and I think Bloomington is completely flooded. We will swim where there is water, and the term \"beach\" will just mean wherever the water meets land, not where there is sand. We will have to learn to adapt.
Flood zone or not, I'm going to try and camp as close as I can to the lake. I really don't think it will be too terrible by the time June 7 comes around.
People of Lawrence, drink lots of water.

Well, I guess it's good to know the imboundment is doing what it was designed for: Flood Control.
Here's to hoping the h2o is down and safe.

Thanks.
I am hoping for a nice sandy beach, but I'll take whatever. I just want to be able to get myself in the water. I'm easy going.
