Who's going? I'm going with my little brother and a friend. I love taking my brother to concerts because he usually only attends things that are electronica in nature!
I'm going to warm up tonight with local Waka Winter Classic winnners The Canvas on O'Malley's patio. What a weekend!!

That sounds like a good weekend! I plan on going to the Greyboy Allstars as well. I've never seen them, nor have I ever been to this venue before... so I'm excited about experiencing both things for the first time.

DAAAAAAAAAMN :o
I wish I would have known about this on Thursday.........I've gotta head into work for a few hours and get caught up on some paperwork, but I'm gonna study HARD on coming up there tonight. A Denson show is not one to be missed.

Yo DJ Shawn! Is there any good music scenes over there in the Little Apple? I grew up over in that area, and the last time I lived around there ('95-'96) it was all pretty much dead. They did have a little club in Aggieville called \"Berlin\" that had some good beats... techno, jungle and acid house, but that was about it. I still go over that way every couple months or so and would consider checking something out.

My first Crossroads experience, place is a helluva lot bigger than i thought. And there was a good amount of people there as well. Loved the show, front row was the place to be :)

I'm jealous
Also kinda sad that no Denson project is on the schedule for this year :(
Good times last night! It was chilly, but the funky tunes warmed me up. I definitely prefer the Greyboy to Karl Denson Trio... Could have done with out the opener though... and I wasn't expecting them to take a set break. I thought it kind of ruined the vibe they had going... oh well!

I kinda thought the opener was prettygood and they've been jamming for a long time. Jervis Jort is their name and quite honestly they refresh a sometimes bland local scene. They do mostly \"hickory\" adaptations. Country like tunes with rapped verses to them. Blues and rock injected too. Their lead man is real silly on the surface but dropping some meaningful rhymes. I thought they were pretty sweet. They played waka '05 at the legendary \"Own Grown\" tent.
my thoughts....
