man that'd be awesome if they joined them at Waka. actually i'm a lot more interested in seein the guys in JFJO than EOTO.

This show was a bit misrepresented. It was JFJO opening for EOTO. Now I admit I am not into the electronic sound at all, so maybe that is my issue, but EOTO was some of the most boring, repetitive, and uninspired music (if you can call it music) I have ever heard. JFJO ripped it up, which I am thankful for so the entire night was not a total waste. EOTO did not come on until after midnight and I finally left a little after 1...I was waiting for Brian and Reed to get up there with them, but I could no longer take listening to EOTO so I left.

On a positive note I did get a lot of flyers handed out for Waka last night :lol:

yeah i haven't seen EOTO and am still wondering if i'll feel the same way. being a drummer myself who also plays with loops i'm hoping they'll impress me, but i'm afraid they might be a little too monotonous for my taste. i plan to check 'em out here in omaha before deciding for sure to see them at waka.

Being into repetitive and monotonous Techno, House, & Trance, EOTO is right up my ****ing alley!
Modern electronic dance music is all about minimalism & repetition, after all, and I dig that about it. To each his own. Wish I coulda been there for both acts....I love JFJO!

If JFJO sat in with EOTO, i think that would be some really interesting stuff. Reed can pretty much play with anybody, and Brian adds a lot of frekiness. But with some electronic EOTO? Man, that would be dope. Wish i would be able to see this one...
