We're driving from Maryland, about an 18 hour drive! We did the trek to Bonnaroo the last two years and thought we try something new. I think it will be well worth every mile!!

I will be traveling all the way from Virginia on thurs the 17th. This is the best festival this summer as far as the bands playing there without getting too big like bonnaroo. See you all there.

Coming from Detroit. We figure this drive should be about the same distance for us as Bonnaroo was...... had a great and unique experience at the 1st annual roo but could never do it again, guess at 28 I'm just personally too old for that magnitide of bodies in one large field, and I like my trees and water and nature. I am incredibly excited about Wakarusa!! Biking, disc golf, nice campground, big ol lake, and my favorite band, Donna the Buffalo!! Cannot wait!

I'm 32 and in OP Kansas. Used to make the trek down to Live Oak, FL for MagFest every chance I got. Went to the original '97 fest. It is always great to catch a fest on it's first year. Just got married on Jamcruise 1 last Janurary out of Ft. Lauterdale. It feels great to finally get a fest that I can get to 30 min. from home!

randall747, I live in Tallahassee, FL. I have been to only 1 magfest, but I have been to a spring fest out there too. Not to forget a HORDE back in the day and last falls Harvest. I love the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Clinton Lake looks like a big version of the Suwannee, so this can only be good. I can't wait!!!!!!!!

I'd drive a long way to see this group of artists, but luckily I only have about a 6 minute drive. Who knows what traffic will be like though. Too bad I can't just ride my bike.
About nine 1/2 hours from Wyoming. Should be a wonderful trip. Goin to Deer Creek afterwards to see the boys one more time. Cant make it to Coventry (moe. at the mishawaka)(sick sick sick).

I hadn't heard about this. I live at about 9500 feet, and we're still getting snow (5\" over the weekend--but melted by Tuesday), so I need to do everything that I can to beat the heat when I get to Whackaroo.

Des Moines, Iowa. Sounds like there are a few Iowegians going. Very cool!
We went to Bonnaroo last year, but I have to agree with a few. It was just too big, and the natural surroundings were kind of trashed as a result. This weekend should be much more fun!
A three-hour tour in the morning and I should be there!
...all the way from east lansing michigan! great show!....hope nobody else got eaten alive by the chiggers!

Just made it back to Baltimore, MD. Hit the odometer on the mighty Focus when we left and it is now sitting at 2,760.4 miles round trip. Had an absolute blast ever single mile. Went straight to Wakarusa, then to Lake of the Ozarks, MO, then onto St. Louis Missouri and last stop Cleveland, Ohio and caught one hell of a Primus show and finally drove back today.
