We should check with Waka Mgmt and see if they could put in a mud pit on site. Everybody bring your ratty old t-shirts, and we'll have an all- out mudfest. Mud wrestling, mud slip-n-slide, mud ball fights, mud pies, mud castles, .... Whooohooo!
You can always wear a shower cap for your hair, and goggles for your eyes, the rest you could spray off with a hose. Lord knows it'll be hot! Last year, a company provided awesome hot showers for a nominal fee.

This event will be held at Bonnapoo, they have all the mud you need. :D

Oh, come on Bob, this would be a great time. I would love to see this added down by the water. Just jump on in the lake and your ready for the next band! The only catch is how? Also, will the state park approve? We all have different opinions, and Bonneroo may have this mud thing going on, I dont know, but we also have other things that Bonneroo also has. But then again, if it rains again like it did last year, I guess we really dont have to worry about Waka having to provide this event, do we? Alicia, if Waka doesnt provide this, I will take you on down by the lake and wrestle you. Maybe we can even charge money if we do it topless! We can call it art! Besides, I have met you, I think I can take down, woman!

Anyone at IT remember the death walk from the main runway to the venue??
My feet were sinking like 6 inches into the mud... I lost a Birkenstock and a nice piece of glass!
That being said, a mud pit WOULD be fun... hehe.

We better stick to our ratty t-shirts (nobody said we have to wear bras!), but as far as wrestling; I may be petite but i'm scrappy! Bring it on sister! :D

Now that we have your attention, what say you, TeamB? Any chance of a mud pit this year? I understand that it's a state park, but there must be some way... All the cars are going to tear up the grass anyway! :D Pppplllleeeeeaase?

I wouldn't go the bonnapoo if you paid me. For me, it's too crowded, too expensive, too far to drive, too overratted, and Waka has just as many bands. 8)

I'll see if I can work a mud pit of some type into the discussion...maybe down by the beach or something. -db

So, do I have to buy a ticket to this match or will it come with my 3 day pass? :D

I have the same question as Bob  I could never turn down some topless mud wrastlin'

Sorry boys. There will be no topless mud wrestling at Waka this year. Clinton Lake Park is a family park as well as Waka is a family event. Granted, if there is a mud pit, there will be some WRASTLIN goin down; only fully clothed. I was thinking more like the country music video for the song \"Mud on the Tires\"... anyone seen that?

Anyone have a slip-n-slide (old school) that we could set up? We could have a huge mud pit at the end of it!

Thanks Fraunt, we do our best. I saw that you were down at Saltpetre cave in Murphysboro, John and I grew up in Southern Illinois and have been done there many a time. Beautiful spot for sure!

I Actually really lucked out finding that venue, I was on jambase trying to quench my festivalitis and saw that they had a fest that was only 12 dollars, i bought three tickets and hounded all of my friends until I had found two to go. I couldnt have spent that money in any better way. Amazing is all I can say.

How about unisex booty-prints! Some might just look like big 'ol blobs though  . I like the idea of playing in the mud & making a mural. Very cool.

I figured \"Why let the 'little' kids have all the mural fun?\"
I saw a double action slip-n-slide at the dollar store today for $25! All we would need is a hose and water action! I wonder if we can pump the lake water to the slip-n-slide somehow. (that way, we don't have to use city water; less $)
