I passed out a nice amount of flyers at the Rusted Root show up at the Eagles Ballroom this past weekend. Didnt expect as big of an excitment about it as I got. Alot of people were very interested. Even had a chat with a cat from Jambase, told him about it, and told me \"I dont know how the hell I'll get to Kansas, but I'll be there\". I'll be there in full force for the Ratdog show on the 31st. Anyone else hitting up this show? 8)

whats up...i was there too....whats up with the rave? that place is an amazing venue!

anyways..i passed out all of my flyers at that show too....people did seem pumped about...but anyways i am glad that we scoured that place because it was the best rusted root crowd that i have seen in years.....

did you see Mad Hornet aFter Hour play before Rusted root downstairs in the bar? those guys are my friends....if you did not see them then you should go to their website and check them out......madhornetafterhour.com

To answer your question, no I didnt see the after party, I did check them out before Rusted Root though, looked pretty sweet.

Damn, I actually almost went to the rusted root show, but I have seen them numerous times, and honestly, I cannot handles the rave/eagles ballroom... the sound is terrible as well as the security, but damn, the shows they are getting in the near future are the ****...(Ratdog, Hydra (particle and Mickey hart), YMSB, Umphrey's, 2 nights of Dylan, WSP, Trey, etc.... I'll be at the Ratdog, Hydra, and YMSB show for sure handing out flyers and what not :D Drop me a line through email or instant messenger if anyone wants to hook up before the show or figure out a plan at the venue... I actually live about 10 minutes away from downtown, so i am sure will be hanging out and doing a little prepartying before heading out there...

gonephishin- how many flyers did you bring in? The rave/Eagles Ballroom people are ususally asses about promoting things outside of their venue and I was curious if you had been hassled at all..?

I brought in close to 100, if not more. My girlfriend also carried some. I got hassled alittle bit for standing in front of the exit outside the building, but he just told me to step to the side. Other than that it was pretty chilled.

Also...I'll agree about the sound to the place, not the best at all. But the drink ticket deal they have is great. You get those pass things in the mail, buy 2 drink tickets (which is usually $5-$10 cheaper than face) and thjey give you your ticket and 2 drink tickets.

My mid-west friends!! Anyone hitting up umph when they are coming to milwaukee?? What about New Monsoon and dark star in Madison this weekend?? It is going to be a great show....i am from madison so if you are going to go maybe i will see you there...handing out flyers right?!

Passed out tons of flyers at Ratdog. Brought my entire new package with me, and have zero left. Hopefully we'll be getting in another shipment soon? I have 1 stack left.

hey, i was at the DSO show in madison ... pretty kickass show i'd say! i'm deciding between hydra in chicago and umph at the rave on the 16th, prolly settle for the latter since hydra will be at the rave on the 15th. can't wait
