Free Henna!

Hi all! I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be doing henna free of charge at Wakarusa! I won?t be in the vendor area, but will be doing the henna from my campsite. I?m not sure where the campsite will be yet, but I will try to set up near the other folks offering free food and services. I have a white Chevy Cobalt and will make a nice sign so everyone will know where the free henna fest is!

I will be there Thursday through Sunday?except for the times I?m watching the shows! I?ll try to post a tentative schedule so you all will know when I?ll be available to do some henna!

I will be using a home made henna mix that I?ve had a lot of success with. Nice dark color. I never use black henna, so no worries about safety there. Feel free to bring a design with you or look through the book of designs available at my tent.

Very cool! You could say Henna runs in our family (my dad is from India). Here's a pic of my cousin at her wedding (a little hard to see the detail on her hands and arms, but you get the idea):

I've always been a henna fan, but never had it done. Bogmonkey (my brother who also frequents these boards) did henna for a while. I'll stop by if I see you!

I'm in for this too! I've wanted to get henna'd (???) for years. My sister had it done when she visited India about 5 years ago. It was so beautiful! I hope you have BIG signs Janet....I definitely don't want to miss out.

ohhhhh...I would love love love some henna...it looks like you will be busy at the Chomp, and I am a vendor...so I will not have lots of free time...but if you wanna catch some shade and cold water while up in the main stage area, come by our booth, the Third Planet (near the Revival tent) and you can henna me up or we can make a date! ooooo I am so excited! Ok guys, here's my schedule of when I will for sure NOT be available for henna. I will also be out for some time every morning. (I'll need to run home to shower and feed los gatos :) ) My friend Jenny is going to help me with the henna so she'll be around during that time.

Thurs - 2-4pm

Fri - 10am for chompdown
2:30-11pm (looks like this day is pretty full, but hopefully I can do some henna after chompdown..or during?)

Sat - 5:30-6:30
10:00-11:30

Sun - 12-12:45
6:30-on
