HUGE PROPS to the medical staff this year!
Second day, one of the girls camping with me was sick as a dog and her mom had to drive almost 6 hours to come get her. Third day, a guy we were with got sick. We had to take him to the medical trailer, and he got a saline IV. Last day, I, of course acquired this horrible sickness, also had to get an IV (poked 7 times!)
We think it was the stomach flu.. but boy was it ever terrible.
But a gargantuan thank you to the medical staff at Waka this year for being oh-so-kind to give us free medical care and re hydrating us so that we could enjoy the remainder of our stay.
