so anyway, just thought I would put my two cents in for the california voodoo show that I saw last weekend at peoples in des moines.
seeing as though I have not had my panic fix in quite a while, I was up for seeing them and finding out what was what there. And I was actually quite surprised. I was pretty much for sure that I was going to find a lame-o cover band and was really shocked at how good they sounded and how much fun I had.
anyway......if they come your way, I'd highly recommend them for a fun time. the guy that played the keys was a major turn on. guys that know how to tickle them ivories really make me smile.

I have seen quite a few really good shows at Peoples this year, MGMT, Garaj Mahal, Amos Lee, to name a few. Unfortunately I missed California Voodoo. I did catch the encore of Reverend Horton Heat there last Thursday night, right after seeing The Black Crowes at the Val-Air. Peoples has been bringing in some really decent stuff lately. Can't wait to see Brett Dennen there in March!

oh PLEASE say you'll go with me when Kevin Costners band comes. I would seriously pay money to go stand at the front of the stage and throw **** at him.
ok. that's a little rude. but I would.
