Question about VIP tickets...

I had a terrific time last year, and this years' lineup looks just as good. Last year I had a regular ticket and was jealous of the VIP section up front, so this year I'm gonna go with one of those...but I was wondering if you could purchase one at one of the outlets. I don't have a credit card and I called the Bottleneck and one of the outlets in Topeka, but neither of them had any VIP's for sale. Do they have to be purchased online?

I bought mine calling in to one of those two companies. The online interface did not allow me to set a different shipping address from my billing address (i.e. my cc is at home, but to sign for a package I need it to come to work).

It said \"fax\" in a different shipping address. Ummmm... yeah I want to buy online then fax something else to them. I'm sure that would have worked.

Anyway, the call in buy worked fine and they sent a confirmation immediately.

I double-checked and you do have to purchase the VIP tickets online (or call in like tigerpiper did)

I've got the cash for a VIP ticket, but my problem is that I don't have a credit card...and it seems a little elitist and unfair to me that that's the only way to purchase one.

I'm sorry that you feel that way RST. Perhaps you can borrow someone's credit card and then give them the cash once the ticket is ordered...I had to do this countless times before I had a credit card and it always worked well for me.

maybe you could get a friend to put it on their card while you give 'em da cash??? It's a modern high tech world. whattdya gonna do?

So the bank gave you a credit card. It doesn't make you better than me! I could get one, except I'm a bad risk, and I don't pay my bills on time.

I asked around and was able to get my VIP ticket today. :D
I also got both of the official Wakarusa posters, and the one with the woman playing mandolin is so nice that I'm gonna get it framed.
