I don't know how many of you have heard of the Deep Fried Pickle Project but I suggest you check them out.

They will be at Wakarusa (of course) but will also be at the Bottleneck on the 15th.
So start your weekend early.
Come early and get a taste of the Pickle.

Totally! I have seen the DFPP about a dozen times now and everytime it just gets better. They were also just added to the Northwest String Summit!
If any of you are around the MI (Ypsi) area I know that Jerry from the DFPP will be doing a performance at Frog Island with Rootstand this weekend.
Look for me, I will be the guy with the giant beer helmet whoopin and a hollerin in front of the stage!

I caught the Deep fried pickle project in West Virginia last weekend and it was Hot! I go to the U of M and will totally be catching Jerry this weekend (Possibly the sweetest guy I have ever met!) and will be at the bottleneck as well. Can't wait for Waka!

DFPP Plays Wed. night June 15 at the Bottleneck, right in Lawrence w/ Two high String Band. What a way to start the festival experience off right!

Also there's a Wakaholics Meet N Greet Mixer coming up in Chicago at the Tonic Room starring the Pickles. SWEET....Pickles.

btw.. heard Pickles mentioned on the news around here.. they were talking about the bands.. and they mentioned DFPP. Thought that was pretty cool. :wink:
