it's just plain unrealistic of Waka to think that they can get people to pour out the water in their camelback every time they pass through a gate.

yeah, it drops at least 5, if not closer to 8 degrees as you climb in elevation away from the Arkansas River Valley, and doesn't hold the heat that the city will at night.

The Buffalo is actually at a great floating level right now. If we continue to get these storms on and off for the rest of our horrible wait until Wakarusa... it could certainly still be floatable. ...
