Default Sometimes my job does not suck...

Even though the pay sucks a s s - the bennie's are just too good. Went to Jamaica on vacation for 6 ngihts and it only cost me $250 and then a few minutes ago I was told they "need" me to go on a cruise in November.. ohh the hard work

Actually the bad part is telling my wife that I have to go on a cruise for work (and no it is not possible for me to take her) and then I get to tell her I am going with one of my best friends (most of you met my friend Marc at Waka this year)

It's not like this is the first time, since we have been together I have had to go to Mexico, Paris, Hawaii, and other places for work - she gets over it. But that is why it helps that I can take her on vacation at other times. We are planning Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam next year!!

I kinda did that.... I flew into Brussels and passed through the airport and train station a few times while bouncing back and forth between Paris and A-dam. Good times!

When I first met my wife she was able to get free airfare, and she put that benefit to use as often as she could! "Goodbye, I'm flying to San Francisco to see [Jerry at the Warfield, Grateful Dead at Shoreline, etc.]. See you later"

Wish I could have afforded to join her, but I had a crappy job at the time without free travel bennies...
