    Default 7 Walkers

Kreutzmann, Papa Mali and George Porter Jr doing new Robert Hunter songs!

I can't see any other set keeping me from this.

I thought Reed Mathis was playing bass with them at Waka? If the "funkiest man on the planet" is playing with them, there is not another band at the festival that would make me miss this set!

Jambase has Tea Leaf Green listed on Thursday as well. I cant see the Waka gods scheduling those two bands at the same time. Thursday should be full of funk.

    Ditto that.

After hearing this I can say that there are precious few other bands at Wakarusa that would make me skip seeing 7 Walkers. Doesn't matter if they have Reed or George on bass....

Looks like Reed will be playing with 7 Walkers at Waka. Porter is in New York on the 4th and 5th per his website. All his other 7 Walkers dates are listed. Would have preferred Porter, but I guess Reed Mathis is nothing to sneeze at. Haha
